The polyester base delivers targeted durability (warp-wise breaking strength: 960N; weft-wise: 1000N) — sufficient for 5–10 occasional setups (e.g., monthly weekend camping) and light wind resistance (e.g., party tent shade), while weighing 15% less than WA4002-L. Its 19% elongation at break ensures easy folding without creasing, solving WA4002-L’s "bulky storage" issue for users who only need shading occasionally. Unlike WA4003-L/4005-L’s over-engineered strength (unnecessary for temporary use), it prioritizes "lightweight + basic sturdiness" to cut costs.
WA4001-L PVC’s Temporary-Optimized Coating
The 31%–37% coating weight (the lightest in WA 4000-series leisure models) focuses on "essential shading only" — blocking UV rays and repelling light drizzle (dries in 30–35 minutes) without extra treatments (e.g., WA4002-L’s stain resistance, WA4003-L’s anti-static finish). It uses a thin single-layer formulation to keep weight low (ideal for backpacking camping) and price accessible, making it suitable for users who want "no-frills temporary shade" without investing in premium leisure gear.
Basic UV & Heat Protection
It blocks 91% of UV rays and 71% of solar heat — enough to prevent sunburn during a day-long camping trip or holiday party, without WA4002-L’s steady temperature control (unneeded for temporary use). This avoids over-shading (common in 1% fabrics) and harsh glare (common in higher-openness models), making it practical for short-term outdoor stays.
