The polyester base delivers robust durability (warp-wise breaking strength: 1080N; weft-wise: 1120N) with 15% elongation at break—enough to withstand wind gusts in covered patios or frequent adjustments for office blinds, while remaining more flexible than fiberglass alternatives. Unlike 1% openness fabrics (e.g., D14205/6), it balances strength with a softer drape, ideal for curved awning frames or floor-to-ceiling window shades.
D32513 PVC’s Multi-Protection Coating
The 42%–48% coating weight (higher than 1% series D14205’s 34%–40%) forms a semi-matte, stain-resistant layer that repels both light rain and everyday spills (e.g., coffee, soda). It adds mild UV stabilization (up to 5000 hours of fade resistance) without stiffening the fabric—perfect for spaces like outdoor dining areas or office lobbies where aesthetics and durability are equally critical.
Fire & Mildew Compliance for High-Traffic Areas
The blend meets NFPA 701/B1 fire standards (low smoke, no dripping) for commercial spaces and includes an anti-mildew additive to resist moisture buildup in semi-outdoor areas (e.g., screened porches). It outperforms 1% openness fabrics in humidity resistance, making it suitable for coastal or subtropical climates.
Balanced Heat & UV Blocking
It blocks 96% of harmful UV rays and 80% of solar radiant heat—more than 5% openness fabrics (which block ~70% heat) but less than 1% variants (which block ~85% heat). This makes it ideal for spaces like home sunrooms or office break areas, where users want to stay cool without sacrificing natural light for reading or casual work.
