The micro-filament polyester base delivers targeted strength (warp-wise breaking strength: 990N; weft-wise: 1030N) while weighing 20% less than D32510. Its 22% elongation at break (higher than D32510’s 20%) lets it withstand temporary wind gusts at outdoor markets or folding/unfolding cycles for camping gear, without straining lightweight pop-up hardware—solving the "bulky weight" issue of heavier 3% openness models like D32512.
D32509 PVC’s Fold-Friendly Coating
The 33%–39% coating weight (lower than D32510’s 36%–42%) creates an ultra-thin, flexible barrier that resists cracking or peeling even after 3,000+ fold-unfold cycles (more than D32510’s 2,000+). Unlike thicker coatings in D32510/12, it folds into pocket-sized storage bags (e.g., camping gear pouches, market stall carry cases) without permanent creases—ideal for users who need to set up/take down shading quickly.
Basic Weather & Fire Safety for Temporary Use
It meets BS 5867 Part 2 Type C fire standards (suitable for temporary structures) and resists light rain splashes (IPX2 rating) — perfect for pop-up scenarios where shelter from occasional drizzle is needed, but permanent weatherproofing isn’t required. It also resists dust buildup at outdoor markets, reducing cleaning time between uses.
