Its 14% elongation at break balances basic flexibility (for folding storage) with structural stability, avoiding sagging in covered micro-spaces (e.g., food cart service windows).
D32505 PVC’s Minimalist Protection
The 28%–34% coating weight (lower than D32506’s 30%–36%) focuses on "essential shading only" — blocking UV rays and repelling light dust, without extra layers (e.g., anti-mildew additives in D32509) that add cost. Unlike D32510’s fold-friendly coating, it uses a simple single-layer formulation to keep weight and price low, ideal for users who need disposable or short-term (6–12 months) shading solutions.
Basic Safety for Non-Critical Spaces
It meets BS 5867 Part 2 Type D fire standards (suitable for temporary, low-risk areas) and resists light moisture (e.g., morning dew on flea market stalls) — sufficient for open-air temporary spaces where strict safety certifications or long-term weather resistance aren’t required.
