Polyester’s Adaptive Strength
Unlike rigid fiberglass, the polyester base offers excellent ductility, with warp-wise breaking strength of 1050N and weft-wise strength of 1080N. It bends and folds without cracking, making it perfect for applications like retractable roller blinds, boat cabin shades, or curved awning structures—where fabric flexibility is critical for smooth operation.
Fire & Weather Resistance for Daily Use
The polyester-PVC blend meets EN 13501-1/B-s1,d0 fire standards (low smoke emission, no dripping), safe for indoor spaces like bedrooms or hotel rooms. It also resists mildew growth in humid environments and mild UV degradation, suitable for covered outdoor areas (e.g., screened porches) where direct sunlight is limited but moisture is present.
Maximum Light & Heat Barrier
It blocks 99% of UV rays and 85% of solar radiant heat—far exceeding 5% openness fabrics. This makes it ideal for light-sensitive spaces like home offices with large south-facing windows (reducing glare on monitors), photography studios (preventing unwanted light leaks), or night-shift workers’ bedrooms (creating a dark sleep environment).
