This sunshade fabric is engineered with a specialized structure to achieve an ultra-low 3% light transmittance, making it an ideal choice for scenarios requiring strict sunlight control. It effectively blocks up to 97% of harsh sunlight, significantly reducing solar radiation and glare indoors or under covered areas. Whether used for outdoor patios, commercial building awnings, or residential balcony sunshades, it creates a cool and comfortable shaded space while still allowing a soft, diffused light to filter through—avoiding the oppressive darkness of fully opaque materials. This precise light control also helps protect interior furnishings (such as sofas, carpets, and artworks) from fading caused by long-term UV exposure.
High-Strength Fiberglass Core for Durability
The fabric features a high-tensile fiberglass base layer as its structural core, which endows it with exceptional mechanical properties. Compared to traditional polyester or nylon sunshade fabrics, it offers 2-3 times higher tensile strength (≥3500N/5cm in both warp and weft directions) and superior tear resistance (≥600N), ensuring it can withstand strong winds, heavy rains, and even accidental impacts without easily stretching, tearing, or deforming. The fiberglass core also has excellent dimensional stability—under temperature variations ranging from -30℃ to +80℃, its shrinkage rate is less than 1%, maintaining a flat and neat appearance for long-term use, and eliminating the need for frequent adjustments due to material deformation.
PVC Coating for All-Weather Protection & Easy Maintenance
The fiberglass base is uniformly coated with a high-quality PVC (polyvinyl chloride) layer, which adds multiple functional advantages to the fabric. Firstly, it provides 100% waterproof performance—the dense PVC film prevents rainwater from penetrating, making the fabric suitable for use in rainy seasons without worrying about water leakage. Secondly, the PVC coating is highly resistant to UV rays, aging, and corrosion. It contains anti-UV stabilizers and anti-oxidants that can resist prolonged exposure to intense sunlight, salt spray (ideal for coastal areas), and mild chemical splashes (such as outdoor dust or weak detergents), ensuring the fabric retains its color and performance for more than 5 years under normal outdoor use. Additionally, the smooth PVC surface is extremely easy to clean—stains such as dust, bird droppings, or light oil can be simply wiped off with a damp cloth and neutral detergent, requiring minimal maintenance effort.
